Accounting Clerk

Ledgent Finance & Accounting's client is currently seeking a dedicated Accounting Clerk to join their team in California. This role is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is eager to contribute to a dynamic financial environment.

Responsibilities:

• Handling accounts payable and receivable functions with precision and attention to detail.
• Assisting in light payroll processing to ensure timely and accurate payment to employees.
• Supporting the finance team with daily accounting tasks and reconciliations.
• Maintaining organized records and documentation for financial transactions.
• Collaborating with team members to ensure efficient workflow and meet deadlines.

Requirements:

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
• Previous experience in a similar role is a plus.

Work Hours:

Monday to Friday, during standard business hours.
